Rule name and group
This is the last step when creating a rule. Type a Rule name to identify it and Description of what the rule is about.
Choose the Rule group this rule will belong to. If no group has been previously created, the option of "[ungrouped]" will be chosen by default.
At this point, you can switch to the Rules manager to create a new rule group, and come back to the Rules wizard to finish the rule assigning it to the new group. You can also assign the rule to a group at a later time in the Rules manager. |
Click on the Finish button, and then click on Done. Note that the next window shown may be the beginning of the Rules wizard (in this way you can start creating another rule) or the Rules manager, depending on if a new rule was created or an existent rule was edited, respectively.
If an existing rule was edited, the Apply rule changes button (if enabled) in the Rules manager must be clicked in order to commit the changes made and get the rule to work. For more information, read about Rules compilation. |
