Report queue
Reports > Report queue
This form displays both reports and imports that have been processed or scheduled by the current user.
It may be displayed immediately after a report is run from the Report manager form. Otherwise, open it from the Reports folder, on the navigation menu.
Once the report is queued, click the Refresh icon until the Status is Finished.
Once the Status is Finished, click on the format icon (either ,

) to see the output file.

Normally, report output files are kept for a period of time. This number of days to keep reports can be set in the Application preferences form. At the end of this period, they are automatically deleted. Note that report templates created with Report wizard, instead, are stored indefinitely, or until manually deleted. |

Delete/Cancel and Terminate icons. Individual reports can be deleted only if its execution has not started or has already finished (i.e., the Status indicates that it is still Waiting in queue or that is Finished, respectively) by ticking the corresponding checkbox in the leftmost column and clicking the Delete/Cancel icon. But if a report is already running (i.e., the Status indicates either 1/4 Analyzing report, 2/4 Collecting entries, 3/4 Collecting data or 4/4 Creating report), it can be terminated by clicking on the Terminate icon.
The action to terminate a report (if form rights set) can be very useful in case the user made a mistake by running such a report, or realizes that it will take a long time in that moment (e.g., due to rush office time) and it is preferable to cancel it and run at a later time. Also, terminating a report will accelerate the execution of other reports in queue. |
