Application configuration
The main tools to configure an application are two: the Data model editor, to create tables and fields, and the Form designer, to create application forms.
When working on a "live" application (i.e., an application in which users are entering and/or accessing data), the administrator, by periodically saving the configuration work, may expose the application users to incomplete data models and forms. That is why the need of making important configuration changes must be weighed against the possibility of disrupting the users’s normal access to the application. It is recommended for administrators to carry out such changes during non-rush office hours and notify all application users in advance with help of Notifications. |
