Extended logs

This form registers every time a field value has been seen by a specific user on a form or a report. Note that this complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable to any business where EU subjects’ personal information is involved.
To enable this form:

Ask your server administrator to add the "Extended log" form to your application.

Grant yourself rights to this form via Form rights.

Add the form to your Administration folder via Menu editor.

Open Application preferences and check the "Enable read log".

Open Data model editor and select the table where the field* in consideration is, select it and check the "Enable read log" as well.

To verify how the "Read log" works, navigate through forms or run reports where the field in question is. Then, open the "Extended logs" form and note the logs that have been automatically created, according to the times you (or any other user) have seen values of this field. Note that you can download report(s) containing these logs, where you can see the action done on them (e.g., read, altered, etc.).
