Reports
Reports are an important and powerful part of IS Tools.
Reports are data extracted from the database according to specified criteria, and formatted in a user-friendly way. IS Tools can generate reports in Excel, HTML and XML formats.
As an administrator, you are able to create report templates (and give the right to other users to create them as well), and to decide which type of information should be displayed. And, at any time, users can run reports from the current data stored in IS Tools, based on these templates.
The IS Tools report functionality* consists of several system forms that allow the configuration and generation of such reports. Below, the summarized process to obtain a report:

Create a report template in the Report wizard.

Run a report template in the Report manager form.

Download a report output file in the Report and import queue form.
*For applications created from platform version 14.0 onwards, reports will be executed by a new report generator. The forms mentioned above will remain available for users, with a few changes on functions described on each chapter. Note that functions that are exclusive to the former report generator will be referred as "classic reports". Applications created before this version can be optionally set to run reports using the new generator, for this, please contact the IS Tools support team.
