Logged in users
Administration of users and roles > Logged in users
This administrative form provides information about users that are logged in the current application.

Time and date on the server (on the title bar of the form). Note that this may differ from the local time and date.

A checkbox to select the user and Pend. message columns. See below how to send message to users.

User. This is the username; click on it to display more information such as name and language.

Application. The name of the application where the user is logged in.

Proxy/Client IP.

State(s). This is the form the user is displaying in the current time.

Sessions existing in other applications. The number to the left specifies the total count of users logged on to the server, regardless which application, while the number to the right, in brackets, specifies the total count of users logged in the current application.
Click the Refresh button to update the information shown in the columns of this form. |
To run user reports, click on the link of the report you need to generate. The accounts never used and the accounts not used in 10 weeks reports can be very useful to, for instance, take the decision of inactivating those accounts. Alternatively, you can also run similar reports with the Login log form.
To end user sessions, tick the checkboxes of those users you want to end the session to, and click the End session(s) button. Note that this action will arbitrarily log out the users from the application, and they will be forced to log in again. This action can be very necessary, for instance, before clearing the data of a user.
