# Login log

> The IS Tools Login log generates reports on user login activity, including usernames and times. Login data is kept for one year before auto-deletion.

Similar to the reports in the [Logged in users](logged_in_users.md) form, this form allows the application administrator to run reports with information about users who have logged in to the application.

This form is usually located in the **Misc** folder, under **Administration** in the navigation menu. Otherwise, add it with the [Menu editor](menu_configuration.md).

Filters may be applied before running the report, in order to search using some specific criteria or summarize the content.

Click on **Run report** button to open the report in the browser, or click on **Export** button to open it in Excel.

> 
> The retention period of these logs is 365 days. This period is not subjected to edition. Logs cannot be manually deleted.
